Give golfers value for money

Golf Digest (Malaysia) - - From The Gallery - John Ng | Damansara

I never imagined that the state of golf will come to this.

Indeed the price of goods have gone up but to be charged exorbitant green fees for courses that are poorly maintained just doesn’t cut it.

Deterioration happens over a period of time and I believe that many course owners have allowed their golf courses to rot for the past 10 years.

Yes, I agree with some who may say go play on a cheap public course. But, how many are there? Furthermore, public courses are not cheap in Malaysia unlike Australia.

Golf courses should start offering flat rates of RM150 on weekdays to encourage more golfers to frequent their golf courses.

It’ll be a winner.
