Lounging at Altitude

A unique kind of sophistication high above Kuala Lumpur awaits the discerning.

Golf Digest (Malaysia) - - The Golf Life -

arini’s on 57 is arguably Kuala Lumpur’s most popular bar at altitude and with its prime location immediately adjacent to the city’s landmark Petronas Twin Towers, there’s probably no better view of the city than at the summit of what is known as Menara Three Petronas.

However, not all parts of Marini’s on 57 are as well known as the popular main bar with its floor to ceiling panoramic windows overlooking the Twin Towers. Marini’s Lounge (Whisky and Cigar) is an intimate and semiprivate inner sanctum with views overlooking Menara KL.

Ma private English men’s club. It’s not that this is an exclusive domain for men but the deep leather chairs and a bar wall of whisky lends themselves to a place to sit, chat and conduct business. No doubt this is what happens here too but it’s also an excellent venue for those who enjoy a premium beverage in plush surroundings while holding a conversation that doesn’t compete with the background music which at Marini’s Lounge is a selection of just discernible jazz and Latin tunes.

With its elevated position overlooking downtown KL and prestigious surroundings Marini’s Lounge is a perfect location for sealing a deal, celebrating and, for impressing someone. Out-of-towners will be favourably disposed should you take them here to introduce them to the vibrant city that KL is. golfdigestmalaysia
