An auction was held to raise funds for the home to add on to the tournament entry fees.

The auction managed to raise RM28,400 and the proceeds were donated to the Yayasan Sunbeams Home. The main event of the night was the crowning of Miss Palm Garden 2017.

With the support from her home crowd Miss Malaysia, Chenelle Wong, walked away as Miss Palm Garden 2017. She eventually finished in fifth spot in the beauty pageant.
