Golf Digest (Malaysia) - - The Golf Life -

This stunning Robert Trent Jones link-style golf course is situated just 25km from the Bangkok airport. It is still rated as one the premier golf course in the city.

Formerly known as the Presidents Club, the course recently underwent a makeover and is in very good condition with smooth and true rolling greens.

The rather flat course features generous fairways, while the layout seems easy to tackle but don’t be fooled, balls caught in the rough may need more effort than meets the eye. The greens are not always overly large and are protected by many bunkers, which places a big importance on accurate approach play.

A pleasant array of smallish trees and gentle earth mounding provides good separation and definition to each hole, while the plentiful supply of water creates many hazards which you’ll need to negotiate.

I would recommend Suvarnabhumi Golf and Country Club due to its excellent layout with good facilities, good food and good location for tourists visiting Bangkok. Green fees start at THB1,599 (Mondays and Wednesdays), THB1,799 (Weekdays), THB1,599 (tee off after 11am) and THB2,999 (tee off after 11am on weekends).
