Your remaining yardage to the flagstick will be about 100 yards, but remember to subtract 2 percent for every 1,000 feet of elevation. Here your approach will play like 82 yards instead of 100. And because going over this green is real trouble—the downslope kicks balls into the trees—a 75-yard swing is the smart and safe play.
