LOUIS VUITTON

Harper’s Bazaar (Malaysia) - - Collections Report -

After Spring’s graphic impact, it would appear Marc Jacobs yearned for the romantic nostalgia of the Forties. Not a single monogram or check this time as pastel fur Speedys took their place. The look? All dressed up and nowhere to go. Models wore full make-up with barely-there silk slips, as though entertaining in boudoirs. Over the dresses were big duster coats, hastily thrown on like the jacket of a lover on the run. For evening, the relaxed elegance was teased with even more decadence. Think fur-trimmed satin coats, feathers on cuffs and hems, and sequins sewn onto mannish tweeds.
