DOLCE & GABBANA

Harper’s Bazaar (Malaysia) - - Collections Report -

Their hometown of Sicily is Dolce and Gabbana’s endless mine of inspiration. The duo looked to the golden mosaics in the cathedrals of Monreale for these elaborate prints and embellishment, resplendent with religious imagery. The accessories were equally spectacular; think jewelled platforms, cross earrings, and gilded crowns. The heavy tweed and grey herringbone were tamer, but the hourglass silhouettes were still very much Italian bombshell. Lace, as usual, featured heavily, and though the black and white dresses are bound to be classics, the red ones embellished with matching scarlet crystals definitely stole the show.
