What informed your design process this season? The sombre and textured works of Sarah Moon, Luis Feito, and Jim Hodges. They’re dark at first glance, but behind that there is a sense of colour, movement, and noise; which was what I wanted to convey. Designers you really admire? Alber Elbaz of Lanvin. Apart from his amazing ideas and great understanding of a woman’s body, he has one of the best personalities in the industry. Dream collaboration? Definitely Jim Hodges, one of my favourite American installation artists. I would also want to work with Ignasi Monreal on a few illustrations on my pieces, too! Which personalities would you love to dress? I’m into Iggy Azalea and Grimes, so I’ll definitely want to dress the two of them! Fail-proof outfit? As cliché as it sounds, the LBD is an all-time classic. You can wear it under anything, cinch it or let it loose, pull it up or down. The LBD is timeless and works from day to night.
