1833 The Jaeger-LeCoul­tre Man­u­fac­ture is founded by An­toine LeCoul­tre. 1847 An­toine LeCoul­tre cre­ates a rev­o­lu­tion­ary sys­tem us­ing a sim­ple push­but­ton that elim­i­nates the need for keys to rewind and set watches. 1866 LeCoul­tre & Cie be­comes the first Man­u­fac­ture of the Joux Val­ley. 1870 For the first time in watch­mak­ing his­tory, cal­i­bres are man­u­fac­tured with com­pli­ca­tions in small se­ries, im­prov­ing the ac­cu­racy and de­pend­abil­ity of time­pieces. 1885 Hav­ing mas­tered the art of minia­tur­i­sa­tion, the Man­u­fac­ture cre­ates even smaller cal­i­bres for ladies’ del­i­cate watches. 1910 Jac­ques-David LeCoul­tre and Ed­mond Jaeger play a pi­o­neer­ing role in the de­vel­op­ment of wrist­watches, equip­ping the very first wrist­watches with tech­ni­cally ad­vanced me­chan­i­cal cal­i­bres. 1937 Horol­ogy en­thu­si­asts cel­e­brate the of­fi­cial birth of the Jaeger-LeCoul­tre brand. 1989 The Grand Réveil achieves the feat of in­cor­po­rat­ing a per­pet­ual cal­en­dar and an alarm within the con­fined space of a wrist­watch. 2002 The Jaeger-LeCoul­tre Man­u­fac­ture in­vents a beau­ti­ful new fine jewellery tech­nique: Snow-set­ting. 2013 Chi­nese celebrity Zhao Wei con­tin­ues the brand’s part­ner­ship with the Shang­hai In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val.
