Bright beginnings: Taken from the Emilio Pucci archives Emilio Pucci Autumn/ Winter ’13 Best known for his surreal images in highly saturated colours, David LaChapelle has collaborated with Tod’s on a special project featuring the new Sella tote. ‘Pop Touch’ shows the bag in a dream-like setting with horses running free. After all, the Sella bag was inspired by the equestrian dressage saddle. Fashioned from a single, fine leather skin, its shape gently curves to echo that of a saddle atop a thoroughbred’s back. The equine inspiration extends to the hardware, which references bridles and their joints. Lines are beautifully finished in subtle welts and tubular stitches. Available in three sizes, the Sella comes in a variety of skins like calf leather, python, and luxe crocodile.
