IN THE DETAILS
Bamboo was historically used by Gucci’s Florentine artisans since 1947 as an iconic example of clever innovation during a period of war-time rationing. Today, it is internationally recognised as a Gucci signature. As such, the new Bamboo sunglasses blends Gucci tradition with innovation to reflect the house’s concept of contemporary luxury. The two models feature a sophisticated silhouette, inspired by the aviators of the ’70s, embellished with bamboo detail on the bridge for the men’s style and also the temples on the women’s. Both are engraved with the Gucci logo inside the temples and are available in two colourways: gold with mirrored brown lenses and dark ruthenium with grey mirrored lenses.
