Breakfast: “I am currently going through a phase of organic oats with just a teaspoon of brown sugar. I get mine from Jasons Food Hall, and I like to browse through the Sunday market for fresh fruits to go with it.” Lunch: “This typically varies from mixed rice to sandwiches. I live in Bangsar so I frequently take away from House & Co. – the chicken stew tastes just as good as a healthy, home-cooked version. At other times, I would go to Dancing Fish for a hearty meal.” Dinner: “My favourite dish is pretty standard, actually – a little rice, something meaty for protein, and of course, plenty of vegetables. I love my flavourful Asian food, so it could be at House & Co., or Nirvana for the excellent banana leaf rice.” Dessert: “Cake, anytime! Dreamy tiramisu and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting? Yes, please. I also like the red velvet cake from Just Heavenly. To be honest, I don’t really eat ice-cream all that often but if I were to do so I’ll definitely choose Green & Black’s Organic ice-cream in creamy vanilla. You have to try it; it’s the best ice-cream ever.”
“Swimming and tennis as well as Powerplate sessions keep me fit. I would say that Powerplate is one of the fastest ways to get in shape – just two or three sessions and I can see and feel a difference. I play tennis where I live. I have a fantastic coach who plays with me. But I would really like to get into Pilates. I always thought that it would be easy but that one class I tried out when I was in Singapore was tough!”
“I wash my face with a Clarins cleanser, then I put on some Glow by Dr. Brandt serum and Kiehl’s Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator. Add a generous application of sunblock, and I am ready to go.
I like to play with Laura Mercier eyeshadows. I am a natural kind of girl, so I have about 10 shades of brown eyeshadows in my make-up bag. Other than that, I also use a silver shadow stick from Nars as a highlighter on the centre of my eyelids and cheeks, as well as some nude lipsticks and a dark brown eyebrow pencil.
Have you heard of the Italian hair care brand Medavita? It is simply the best. I always buy my shampoo from A Cut Above, and make sure I slather on Kérastase Cristalliste conditioner after a good wash-and-rinse. Ren Morrocan Rose is to die for. I have the whole set and I especially love the body oil, which I normally use after my shower. It smells absolutely divine.”
