1833 The Jaeger-LeCoul­tre Man­u­fac­ture is founded by An­toine LeCoul­tre. 1866 LeCoul­tre & Cie be­comes the very first Man­u­fac­ture of the Joux Val­ley. 1895 LeCoul­tre & Cie starts mak­ing cal­i­bres for watches with grand com­pli­ca­tions. 1931 Polo play­ers stay stylish on the field with the rev­o­lu­tion­ary Rev­erso. 1937 Horol­ogy en­thu­si­asts cel­e­brate the of­fi­cial birth of the Jaeger-LeCoul­tre brand. 1979 A new gen­er­a­tion of sexy Rev­erso is fit­ted with sig­nif­i­cantly thin­ner cases. 1984 The Rev­erso case is given a com­plete makeover to im­prove its com­fort, piv­ot­ing, and wa­ter-re­sis­tance. 1991 Rev­erso 60ème launches the era of lim­ited-edi­tion mod­els, namely the tour­bil­lon in 1993, a minute re­peater in 1994, a ret­ro­grade chrono­graph in 1996, a time­zone mech­a­nism in 1998, and a per­pet­ual cal­en­dar in 2000. 2001 The Rev­erso is given a new look in plat­inum. 2006 Birth of the glam­orous Rev­erso Squadra. 2011 The Rev­erso cel­e­brates its 80th birth­day. 2013 Diane Kruger wears a Rev­erso Cor­don­net Duetto to the un­veil­ing of the new col­lec­tion of High Jew­ellery time­pieces in trib­ute to the brand’s 180th an­niver­sary.
