1833 The Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture is founded by Antoine LeCoultre. 1866 LeCoultre & Cie becomes the very first Manufacture of the Joux Valley. 1895 LeCoultre & Cie starts making calibres for watches with grand complications. 1931 Polo players stay stylish on the field with the revolutionary Reverso. 1937 Horology enthusiasts celebrate the official birth of the Jaeger-LeCoultre brand. 1979 A new generation of sexy Reverso is fitted with significantly thinner cases. 1984 The Reverso case is given a complete makeover to improve its comfort, pivoting, and water-resistance. 1991 Reverso 60ème launches the era of limited-edition models, namely the tourbillon in 1993, a minute repeater in 1994, a retrograde chronograph in 1996, a timezone mechanism in 1998, and a perpetual calendar in 2000. 2001 The Reverso is given a new look in platinum. 2006 Birth of the glamorous Reverso Squadra. 2011 The Reverso celebrates its 80th birthday. 2013 Diane Kruger wears a Reverso Cordonnet Duetto to the unveiling of the new collection of High Jewellery timepieces in tribute to the brand’s 180th anniversary.
