Fendi literally has a new home in Milan. The new flagship store on Via Montenapoleone 3, is housed within the Palazzo Carcasolla-Grandi, a historical building commissioned in the 16th Century by the noble Carasolla family as their residence. Inspired by the brand’s Roman roots, Travertine, the symbol of Roman monuments and architecture, acts as the protagonist. The sumptuous curves of the walls evoke a sense of femininity, emphasising the vertical nature of the generous space. Fendi’s new maison offers various rooms that encapsulate the brand’s lavish offerings to maximum effect. Most notably, the Baguette wall, essentially a showcase of the signature handbag, and the fur room, bathed in warm light to showcase the rich textures of luxe furs.
