In celebration of Révélations, the very first international biennial fair promoting fine craftsmanship, the art gallery of La Vallée Village is hosting an exhibition on the theme ‘A Vision of Modernity’. Focusing on three young artists, the curation is an enthralling mix of fashion and haute couture, meticulously created with traditional savoir-faire and innovation.

Artisan and textile designer Janaïna Milheiro shows high-end weaving and embroidery for fashion and home interiors, specialising in feathered silks and laces. Similarly seductive are the brightly coloured pop-inspired pieces by Christine Phung, which are both delicate and architectural in their soft and structural lines. Milliner Clothilde Toussaint tops it all off with her irresistible range of hats and fascinators, loved by fashion houses the likes of Jean- Paul Gaultier as well as the stars of the Parisian stage. ‘ La Vallée Village and Les Métiers d’Art’ runs through January 12 at Espace La Vallée Village. www.lavalleevil
