After months of renovation, the Louis Vuitton store at Starhill Gallery reopened earlier this year as the maison’s first global store in Malaysia. “Our new store was created to resemble a luxury apartment containing unique furnishing, pieces of art, and iconic objects of desire such as the exclusive Capucines bag,” says Christopher Kilaniotis, president of Louis Vuitton South Asia. “It is an exciting direction for Louis Vuitton in Malaysia and consistent with our aim of providing our clients with the highest level of service, luxury, and comfort.” Discover the world of Louis Vuitton as you walk through the different rooms, including the Travel room, Watch & Jewellery universe, VIP and after-sales rooms as well as Malaysia’s first Haute Maroquinerie room, where customers can create their own Louis Vuitton bag. In conjunction with the global store opening, eight Malaysian women from diverse fields were celebrated with a photography exhibition, ‘Malaysia’s League of Extraordinary Women’. The eight women include Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh, Datuk Nicol David, Datuk Sheila Majid, Ling Tan, and Dato’ Tom Abang Saufi. ‘Malaysia’s League of Extraordinary Women’ runs through March 28 at Indulge Floor, Starhill Gallery.
