First and always a dancer, Peck was itching to explore a different role in the creative process of ballet, which led to his being appointed the first active choreographer-in-residency of the New York City Ballet. With a real understanding of dance, he choreographed his dancers to perform intricate and architectural patterns set against a classical orchestration of Stevens’s Enjoy Your Rabbit, an electronica album and song cycle based on the Chinese zodiac.
