The model and actress fronts Chic Goes Wild! Earliest memories of being green? Going to Japan at 16 and exploring mountains in the North – what a turning point! Does nature inspire you? Yes. I once read that all art aspires to be as beautiful as nature. That resonated with me strongly. How do you balance your career and ethical projects? They work in tandem. Working in the industry I explored different paradigms of social and environmental change, and learned how we might work within them for positive change. For the Chic Goes Wild! Spring campaign, Chic Outlet Shopping is partnering with Botanic Gardens Conservation International. Is the preservation of endangered flowers particularly close to your heart? All conservation is close to my heart. I think endangering anything natural is problematic. What are your favourite flowers? Lilies – narcissism! Actually, the wildflowers you find on long walks in British woods. Thistles, bluebells, and the small, delicate, unusual flowers that grow wild on this island. You’re also an advocate of social giving? I’m working on Impossible.com; it encourages people to do things for others, for free.
