What was the de­li­cious in­spi­ra­tion be­hind The Po­tong Ar­ti­san Pops? Vic­tor Tee and I em­barked upon one of our many food ad­ven­tures, when we dis­cov­ered the per­fect treat for a hot sunny day – the

po­tong. In­spi­ra­tion kicked in and ideas be­gan rolling. We then started play­ing around with dif­fer­ent in­gre­di­ents to up­date and jazz up this clas­sic dessert.

So, what do they call you? I’m the Po­tong Man. In a coun­try that is hot and hu­mid all year round, what’s bet­ter than to be sur­rounded by ice cream 24/7? Dessert doesn’t al­ways have to be a guilty plea­sure. What’s the se­cret be­hind these healthy treats? Our po­tongs are made from 100% all-nat­u­ral in­gre­di­ents. The most in­ter­est­ing flavour you’ve cre­ated? Most of our flavours have a twist but my favourites are Wasabi Ly­chee, Straw­berry Pep­per, and Spicy Pineap­ple. These flavours have raised a few eye­brows! Odd­est ice cream flavour you have tasted? Squid ink risotto ice cream in Ja­pan. It was mind-blow­ing and strange. A fash­ion-in­spired po­tong? Prints! It would def­i­nitely be an­i­mal or geo­met­ric. We are still try­ing to fig­ure out how to print on ice. Sneak peek of an up­com­ing flavour? The king of fruits, per­haps.
