Breaking news! Maison Martin Margiela has announced that John Galliano will take the reigns as its next creative director, marking his return to fashion. “Margiela is ready for a new charismatic creative soul,” said Renzo Rosso, president of Only The Brave (OTB) group that owns Margiela. “John is one of the greatest, undisputed talents of all time – a unique exceptional couturier for a maison that always challenged and innovated the world of fashion. I look forward to his return to create that fashion dream only he can create, and wish him to find his new home here,” Rosso told Women’s Wear Daily.

Over at Nina Ricci, Peter Copping will be replaced by Carven designer Guillaume Henry. Henry headed up Carven the past five years and will show his debut Nina Ricci collection at the Autumn/Winter ’15 shows.
