Vi­va­cious and witty, Sha­reen in­sists it was grow­ing up amid the sar­to­rial in­tel­li­gence of Hong Kong that had a last­ing in­flu­ence on her style, and not so much her mod­el­ling ex­pe­ri­ence. “You’d think that, but I started to ap­pre­ci­ate fash­ion long be­fore that, even as a child. I like the fact that peo­ple in Hong Kong make an ef­fort to dress up and that they do it for them­selves, not any­one else. They dress ap­pro­pri­ately – you’d never catch any­one dressed down in Cen­tral, for ex­am­ple.”
