Vivacious and witty, Shareen insists it was growing up amid the sartorial intelligence of Hong Kong that had a lasting influence on her style, and not so much her modelling experience. “You’d think that, but I started to appreciate fashion long before that, even as a child. I like the fact that people in Hong Kong make an effort to dress up and that they do it for themselves, not anyone else. They dress appropriately – you’d never catch anyone dressed down in Central, for example.”
