In a few short seasons, Nicolas Ghesquière has changed the fashion conversation by redefining what
women want to wear. Where previously he showed 70s flares and 60s A-lines, this season he sampled from a wider net of references with
ideas as diverse as Edwardian leg-of-mutton sleeves worn with rocker boots, snow-white sheepskin with leather minis, or sparkly knits with curly hems. It was a more confident, modern offering with plenty of real-life options for modern
wardrobes. Accessories were as spectacular. Those low-heeled boots will be hits, as will the hard,
shiny vanity-case bags.
