THE FOUNTAINHEAD

When nature and design intertwine on the Serpentine’s lawn in London’s Kensington Gardens, what blooms is an architectural beauty by Spanish architects José Selgas and Lucía Cano, the duo known as SelgasCano. In creating the 15th Serpentine Pavilion, SelgasCano embraced the exuberance which trails in the wake of summer by playing with loud colours, then mimicked the intricacies of the London Underground with a remarkable chrysalis-like structure. As the summer light filter into the Pavilion’s stained glass-effect interior, let loose and reacquaint yourself with the colour of life. From June 25 to Oct 18 at Serpentine Pavilion, London. www.serpentinegalleries.org
