Harper’s Bazaar (Malaysia) - - THE CULTURE -

As if a stroll in the Gardens of Versailles isn’t awe-inspiring enough; a thought-provoking element is put forward along with Anish Kapoor’s magnificent art pieces. With bold flair, the contemporary artist moulded his works to significant historical events, including the French Revolution and the fall of Louis XIV. With the idea of space remaining central to his exhibition, even to a grand poetic extent, the distinguished artist chose to play on perception. His works act as a contradiction to each other, creating a riveting chaos in Versailles’ orderly fashion. Fearless and striking, Kapoor’s art is a breath of fresh air. From June 9 to Nov 1 at the Palace of Versailles, France. www.chateauversailles-spectacles.fr
