OLD LONDON Patek’s domed table clocks are highly collectible, and Ref. 20017 or View w of London, should have no problems finding a mantelpiecetli t to call home. Patek Phlippe’s artisans brought London’s iconic cityscape alive using the rare technique of grisaille enamelling and 24-karat gold powder. London’s old gas street lamps are depicted against a night sky, while the dial bears the city’s coat of arms in cloisonné enamel.

EAnglophiles mightght recognise the striking riking floral symbol on n the 44.1mm yellow gold pocket watch. It’s the Tudor Rose, England’s heraldic emblemm that arose during theh Td Tudor D Dynasty (1485-1603). The elaborate decoration was achieved using a variety of artisanal treatments: cloisonné enamelling, enamelling in relief, and gem-setting. Emeralds and red spinels are used on the dial and crown respectively, while even more stones are set in four cylinders on the gold chain. How’s that for some bling?
