T3.1 Phillip Lim Autumn/ Winter ’15 here is an irresistible allure to the thought of waking up to natural curlicues. Considering how covetable this had been made by the likes of Karlie Kloss and Alexa Chung, it was only a matter of time before the hairstyle spread like wildfire across the runways. Some may achieve the look by simply bundling up their tresses and going to sleep in it, while others may just need a little more help to get that desired texture and effect.
Start by washing your hair with a detoxifying shampoo and moisturising mask – pick products that are free of sulphate and silicones; it makes all the difference. Blow-drying with a good bristled brush is crucial in getting that gentle wave. If you have a curling tong, skip the brush, blow-dry with your fingers mussing through your mane, and curl at random strands to get the look. Finally, we like a spritz of hair fragrance to go. UR
