With her long and slender frame, Nadia Heng stuns as she enters a room. But for a beauty queen such as herself, how else could we have taken it up a notch? By stripping her down to the bare minimum, of course. So, imagine the look on everyone’s faces as she slipped into a delicate Gucci nightdress – all legs and skin, exposed. Nonetheless, it is her girl-next-door approach to style that makes her one of this year’s Most Stylish Women. “Growing up in Port Dickson, I had very little options when it came to fashion and shopping,” Nadia reveals. “It wasn’t until I started working in the industry that I became willing to try new things, and understood my own personal style.” These days, the Malaysian-English model prefers to stick by the classics. “I love simple and elegant pieces,” she says. “My rule is to never follow trends – listen to yourself.”

On Nadia: Slip dress; and shorts, both from Gucci. Earrings; and necklace, both from Bulgari. Shoes, Nadia’s own.
