A LL CH A NGE
Over the past year, the words “musical chairs” have been flung about on more than one occasion. Balenciaga made the first move with creative director Alexander Wang’s exit last September, followed by Raf Simons from Dior. However, the biggest surprise came from Lanvin, where Alber Elbaz’s 14-year reign at the French maison was forcefully (and dramatically) ended by the house’s executives. Distraught? So were we, as we bid adieu to the Israeli’s much-loved soigné creations.
