UT E S W N I I T M H 5 . The brothers behind familyowned Lotus Arts de Vivre describe “smart beauty”. INTELLECTUAL DESIGN IS . . . Sri: A mixture of cultures, raw materials, nature, and animals, brought together for visual emphasis. Nicki: Mythological yet educative, as exemplified by the intricate aesthetics of our décors and jewellery designs. NATURE, REDISCOVERED S: A lot of people in the cities, chief among them children, have never touched an animal. N: We like to bring the wildlife elements into homes with our animalistic designs. For example, our new leather elephant stool. GREEN IS THE NEW BLACK S: Clients these days are more environmentally aware and savvy. N: For our home décors, we use raw materials that would normally be thrown away. We turn them into abstract materials that we would later incorporate in our designs. ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE THE BRAND N: Niche. Wow— because we wow people with our unique designs. The House of Lotus Arts de Vivre, 261 Jalan Maarof, Bukit Bandaraya, Kuala Lumpur.
