Get swept away to the Indo-Chinese seaside where a pagoda sits by the sea in the Do Son Resort Hotel. Inspired by Diptyque’s late co-founder Yves Coueslant’s childhood in Haiphong, Vietnam, Do Son is a deeply nostalgic and amorous tribute to floral scents on a hot Vietnamese summer’s night. Created in 2005 by Fabrice Pellegrin, resident nose of Diptyque, the fragrance possesses an enigmatic and emotional quality; the dominant scent, tuberose, was adored by Coueslant’s mother, who fell in love with the enthralling floral as she sat in the pagoda built by her husband. The infusion is sweetened with orange blossom and rose berries, while iris and musk create a delicate powdery effect.
