“Jean-Claude Ellena knows exactly how to capture the spirit of the times in such beautiful scents,” says Natasha. “His new cologne for Hermès is an interesting, somewhat exotic summer experience.”

“When I started out in the profession of perfumer, I learned to distil raw materials, including orange blossom,” says JeanClaude Ellena, resident perfumer for Hermès. “When you enter the world of stills, you are also immersed in a scent, impregnated with it—you become it.” To celebrate this emblematic moment early in his fragrance journey, Ellena created a cologne that truly encapsulates the beauty of the orange blossom—or neroli. He recalls, “My entire being was fragranced with orange blossom. Where normally one uses very little neroli in fragrances, I used it abundantly, with abandon, as never before.”
