A larger-than-life collaboration with Louis Vuitton, French artist Daniel Buren coloured all 3,600 pieces of the Frank Gehry-designed building’s emblematic glass sails. Awashed in a brilliant display of mesmerising hues, the Fondation Louis Vuitton is perceived in a whole new light—alternating and changing with the time and day of the season. This isn’t the artist’s first partnership with the maison, however. In 2012, the artist designed the luxury label’s Spring/Summer ’13 set, brought escalators to The Louvre’s courtyard, and completed it with yellow checks and horizontal stripes.
