Artillo, the illustrious Spanish artist whose works of art are tinged with elements of modern-day cubism and a Surrealist influence. Harmonising between abstract and real, he creates poetic collages by deconstructing images, giving it new meaning in contemporary compostions. His passion is a catalyst of his creativity, and his cover art for the very first BAZAAR art was a reflection of that, and more. Speaking of his inspiration behind the exclusive cover, he says, “Hari Nef is one of the most visible faces of Gucci now, and she’s a transgender woman. For me, it would be important to have some cultural meaning—not just to create an artistic feeling, but to create a real piece of art with some concept.” All eyes are on Artillo as he takes centre stage in this wondrous world of art.
