JEFF KOONS: NOW The Ser­pen­tine Gallery hosted ‘Jeff Koons: Pop­eye Se­ries’ back in 2009, and this sum­mer, an­other ex­hi­bi­tion ded­i­cated to one of the big­gest, bold­est artists of our era, re­turns. Em­bark on a colour­ful jour­ney from 1979 to 2014, fea­tur­ing more than 30 paint­ings, works on pa­per, and sculp­tures, in­clud­ing Koons’s gi­ant Play-Doh, his five-me­tre-tall stain­less steel Bal­loon Mon­key, and other sig­na­ture in­flat­a­bles. Re­veal­ing some of his ear­li­est works and never-be­fore-seen ones in the UK, ‘Jeff Koons: Now’ is eas­ily the most ex­ten­sive ex­hi­bi­tion to date, pro­vid­ing au­di­ences with noth­ing less than thought-pro­vok­ing pieces.
