PLEATS, PLEASE

Harper’s Bazaar (Malaysia) - - The Jewels -

“A dress is a piece of architecture,” Christian Dior used to say. The visionary Victoire de Castellane has updated the Archi Dior collection with eight new pieces as an homage to the art of pleating. Inspired by the iconic Cocotte houndstooth dress from Spring/Summer ’48, as well as the Milieu du Siècle line from Autumn/ Winter ’49, expect asymmetrical rings and necklaces crafted from golds and diamonds, while the seductive forms of a diamond necklace are subtle, yet spectacularly show-stopping.
