BAZAAR gets the scoop. Why col­lab­o­rate with MCM now? MCM’s val­ues re­ally ap­peal to me, in par­tic­u­lar its for­ward-think­ing na­ture and moder­nity. The part­ner­ship pro­vides great op­por­tu­ni­ties for us to in­no­vate to­gether, both in prod­uct and dig­i­tal pre­sen­ta­tion. How do you con­nect with MCM? I have a very mod­ern ap­proach to de­sign: a fo­cus on in­no­va­tion, func­tion­al­ity, and qual­ity, but with due re­spect to her­itage and au­then­tic­ity. We also both try to re­mem­ber that a sense of wit and hu­mour is worth­while. What is your favourite piece within the col­lec­tion? I’m a big fan of the bomber jacket in the Li­monta jacquard. I also love the mod­u­lar bag sys­tem —it of­fers some­thing fresh and cus­tomis­able that fits the life­style of a 21st cen­tury no­mad.
