Apply oil before bed to the roots, or comb your lashes with a clean mascara wand that’s coated in oil. This will help with the growth and conditioning of your lashes, making them stronger and longer. Try castor, coconut, avocado or olive oils!
Disinfect your eyelash curler. After some time, you’ll notice that makeup like eyeshadow or eyeliner gets stuck there, so be sure to always clean it to avoid bacteria build-up.
Sleep with your makeup on, ever! Leaving your mascara for too long can cause your lashes to become brittle and break off. Use a cleansing oil or balm – they’re great at removing waterproof makeup.
Rub your eyes. With or without eye makeup on, rubbing your eyes can pull out your lashes. If it’s itchy, try to relieve the discomfort by patting gently instead.
