The Light + Building Exhibition is held in Frankfurt every two years, bringing in 216,000 visitors. More than 2,500 exhibitors graced the exhibition this year, making it the biggest trade fair for lightning and building services. It was an excellent chance for attendees to be exposed to an integrated spectrum of products, and to explore the building and lighting industries to the fullest.

With the enhancement and development of innovative solutions serving as the driving force behind lighting design, the Frankfurt Light + Building Exhibition brings good style with functionality into the same spectrum. Even the most minimalist product is more than merely functional. It is where many ideas converge, are formed, and of course, built upon.

This year, the Light + Building Exhibition highlighted four different trends which can be used as a guide for the season’s dominant silhouettes, colours, and shapes. Liberal & Manifold showcased diverse and original ideas that are combined freely, while Progressive & Decorative displayed innovative and decorative pieces. On the other hand, Ingenious & Significant is where intelligent and minimalist solutions broke through with powerful effects. Lastly, Pristine and Desirable encases poetic, enticing designs that are inspired by nature.
