B e a u t i f u l b looms
Artist Loretta H. Yang deemed that liuli made in the shape of a flower represents life’s awakening. At the end of winter, flowers bloomed in Yang’s studio which opened and closed with the sun. She saw them as a point of awakening and wondered if the flowers knew that blooming were in their manifest destiny. Her liuli flower collection is the perfect visualisation of the present, and the Buddhist concept of impermanence.
