“Deniable is a sense of mutual respect and disagreement on the minimalistic nature of our design decisions,” says Akhil. “Deniable – the ability to deny the counterfeit and undeniably explore the full potential of the materials with their rawness. Hence, the name Deniable Studio.” The studio focuses on creating objects that echo a forwardthinking aesthetic and a focus on art and crafts-based experiences. Part of the brand’s DNA rests in their desire to design substances with which to create the perfect balance of usability and minimalistic luxury. “We’re on the constant lookout to explore and exploit the potential of raw materials, with respect to colour, scale, texture, and the behaviours they exhibit.”
