The Xperia Z Ultra comes in two colors - white and black - and retails at RM2,299 for the HSDPA version
“We are very excited to bring Xperia Z Ultra into Malaysia, just over a month after its global announcement,” said Smith. “This device is specially designed for Asian consumers who are looking for a premium smartphone that offers an extraordinary viewing experience in a complete entertainment device. It is also for consumers who enjoy Sony entertainment and want a fully integrated mobile experience.”
Equipped with the TRILUMINOS Display for mobile and Sony’s X Reality for mobile picture engine, the Xperia Z Ultra is able to optimally reproduce patterns, outlines and color compositions for a more immersive viewing experience. This super responsive screen also comes with handwriting recognition, which is compatible with any pencil, stylus or pen, so users can write notes or do sketches, as and when.
The most impressive feature of the Xperia Z Ultra, however, is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with HD voice, which works in tandem with Sony’s ClearAudio+ mode and Xloud loudness enhancement to deliver exceptional speed and performance, as well as unsurpassed voice and audio quality. With Battery STAMINA Mode, the phone’s standby time is also improved by four times or more, as the smartphone recognizes when the display is not used and automatically turns off unnecessary functions, while keeping important notifications. This gives industry-leading battery performance, offering users a seamless connected entertainment experience at all times.
Measuring only 6.5mm thin, the Xperia Z Ultra features Sony’s elegant craftsmanship and durability. Featuring an impressive rating of IP55 and IP58 for resistance to dust and water, this smartphone is waterproof and can be taken with users everywhere. Camera-wise, the smartphone comes with an Exmor RS for mobile, which enables HDR and noise reduction when needed, so users will continue to take stunning images even in the most challenging light conditions.
Supporting the Xperia Z Ultra are two peripherals, including a dynamic Smart Bluetooth Handset that provides easy hands-free call handling with a single press, as well as a multifunctional SmartWatch 2 SW2 that keeps track of everything, so you can keep the phone in your bag. Available now in stores, the Xperia Z Ultra comes in a choice of black or white at a recommended retail price of RM2,299 for the HSDPA version.
