A Gathering for Headphone Aficionados
First ever Mook Headphone Festival successfully held in South East Asia
Last month, the first ever Mook Headphone Festival in South East Asia was successfully held in Singapore. As its name suggests, the Mook Headphone Festival was an event where many of the world’s top headphone and headphone paraphernalia manufacturers gathered to showcase the latest in audio technology.
With its venue at the Suntec City Convention, the Mook Headphone Festival went on from 2 to 4, August. Throughout the three-day event, attendees were able to experience first hand, headphone technology of the highest quality from the likes of JH Audio, iRiver, Beyerdynamics, Beats, Monster, Denon, Ultimate Ears and Rudistor.
In addition to being able to audition the equipment showcased there, attendees had the opportunity to purchase some of the equipment at discounted prices and even in bundles. The best part about the Mook Headphone Festival though, was that attendees had the chance to meet Jerry Harvey, the man who founded Ultimate Ears, and who is currently the owner of his very own company, JH Audio.
For the uninitiated, JH Audio is the only company in the world that manufactures custom in-ear monitors (IEM) that feature up to eight drivers in a single earpiece. His equipment is currently being used by many singers and performers around the globe as a means for personal audio feedback.
