Ensuring the Safety of Women
ETCM given recognition for prioritizing women’s safety
Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has received an accolade in the form of a certificate of appreciation from the Road Safety Marshall Club Malaysia (RSMC). This is to recognize the company’s strong support for creating safety awareness for women through its series of Nissan City Survival Workshops. Representatives from the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development were also present to acknowledge ETCM’s efforts, in conjunction with the Women Street Crime Awareness Campaign held at Great Eastern Mall in Kuala Lumpur.
“We are honored to have this recognition, as we emphasize greatly on the safety of our Nissan customers, especially women. It is our responsibility to provide our customers with proper knowledge and tips to protect them from harm. We will continue to help create a safer social environment with more safety workshops in the future,” said Dato’ David Chen, Executive Director of ETCM.
ETCM has been supporting and stepping up efforts to train women through its Nissan City Survival Workshops, which is exclusively designed for female Nissan customers. The training equips lady participants with sufficient knowledge on ways to protect themselves from the many possible dangers that they may encounter in the city.
ETCM plans to continue these interesting and meaningful events for the benefit of all their Nissan customers. It also hopes that valuable information and knowledge gained from these safety workshops will be shared with their family members and friends.
