NET­GEAR In­tro­duces New Prod­ucts for SMBs

New ReadyNAS 2U prod­ucts fea­ture bet­ter data pro­tec­tion and man­age­ment

NET­GEAR has an­nounced the launch of their new and pow­er­ful ReadyNAS 3220 and ReadyNAS 4220. Th­ese new de­vices are the lat­est net­work-at­tached-stor­age (NAS) prod­ucts that uti­lize NET­GEAR’s ReadyNAS OS, which was in­tro­duced in March 2013 to pro­vide high value and per­for­mance stor­age with en­ter­prises fea­tures to SMBs.

The ReadyNAS 3220 and 4220 come with a sleek new in­ter­face and ReadyCLOUD web por­tal for full file man­age­ment from any browser. ReadyNAS 3220 and 4220 also en­able easy stor­age for busi­nesses, thanks to their abil­ity to uti­lize the 2U rack­mount form with 12-bay ca­pac­ity. More­over, the new prod­ucts also sup­port 10GbE in­fra­struc­tures that boast high per­for­mance ca­pa­bil­i­ties and in­clude in­no­va­tive tech­nolo­gies such as un­lim­ited snap­shots and cloud man­aged repli­ca­tion to re­duce data loss.

“The 3220 and 4220 are the top of the ReadyNAS line, pro­vid­ing un­lim­ited block-based snap­shots for con­tin­u­ous data pro­tec­tion,” said Matt Pahnke, se­nior prod­uct mar­ket­ing man­ager for NET­GEAR TGEAR Stor­age.

All ReadyNAS prod­ucts uses SATA TA and SSD drives. In ad­di­tion, each ReadyNAS fea­tures ad­vanced on-box data pro­tec­tion in the form of un­lim­ited snap­shot ca­pa­bil­ity, cloud-man­aged repli­ca­tion and X-RAID2 au­to­matic vol­ume ex­pan­sion.

NET­GEAR’s ReadyNAS prod­ucts pro­vide busi­nesses with ad­vanced, easyto-use so­lu­tions for cen­tral­iz­ing, se­cur­ing, and con­trol­ling ac­cess to dig­i­tal as­sets. Be­sides that, cloud-based dis­cov­ery and file man­age­ment through NET­GEAR’s ReadyCLOUD sim­pli­fies the set-up ex­pe­ri­ence and en­ables full on­go­ing man­age­ment of data from any we­b­con­nected de­vice.
