Set­ting the SATA mode to RAID

Head on over to the Ad­vanced tab. In­side, se­lect "SATA Con­fig­u­ra­tion," fol­lowed by "SATA Mode Se­lec­tion", and then "RAID". You should then be re­turned to the SATA Con­fig­u­ra­tion menu, and with the "SATA Mode Se­lec­tion" value set to ‘RAID’. be sure to save the cur­rent BIOS con­fig­u­ra­tion be­fore ex­it­ing the util­ity. This can usu­ally be achieved by press­ing the F10 but­ton.

En­ter the Ad­vanced menu and se­lect the SATA Con­fig­u­ra­tion item.

The SATA Mode Se­lec­tion value should be ‘RAID’ if the con­fig­u­ra­tion was per­formed prop­erly.

Se­lect the RAID op­tion at the SATA Mode Se­lec­tion menu.

At the SATA Con­fig­u­ra­tion menu, se­lect the SATA Mode Se­lec­tion item.

Save the set­tings and exit the BIOS util­ity.
