LG In­tro­duces World’s First Chrome­base

Korean Gi­ant Show­cases All-in-One PC, Pow­ered by Google Chrome OS

LG Elec­tron­ics has an­nounced that it will show­case the world’s first Chrome­base - an all-in-one com­puter that’s pow­ered by Google’s Chrome OS – dur­ing this month’s CES trade show. The LG Chrome­base (22CV241) is a 21.5-inch sys­tem with a widescreen Full HD IPS dis­play. Other spec­i­fi­ca­tions in­clude be­ing pow­ered by a 4th gen­er­a­tion In­tel Celeron pro­ces­sor; 2GB of RAM; a 16GB iSSD; an in­te­grated 1.3MP cam­era and mi­cro­phone; and stereo 5W speak­ers.

When it comes to con­nec­tiv­ity, there’s one HDMI port, three USB 2.0 ports, a sin­gle USB 3.0 port, and one LAN port. This en­sures that you can con­nect all your pe­riph­er­als with ease, and al­low yo

De­vices run­ning on Chrome OS are op­ti­mized to run Google’s so­lu­tions, in­clud­ing Gmail, Drive, Search, Maps, YouTube, Play and Google+ Hang­outs. Of course, th­ese sys­tems al­low you to per­form ba­sic tasks like word pro­cess­ing, photo and video edit­ing, and play­ing games. They are also a great gate­way to tens of thou­sands of web apps avail­able on the Chrome Web Store.
