Fujitsu Starts New Leasing Program
Partners with ORIX Rentec to Provide Notebook Leasing Program
Towards the later part of December, Fujitsu Malaysia launched a leasing program that caters to the IT needs of businesses. The leasing program is already running, thanks to Fujitsu partnering with ORIX Rentec (M) Sdn Bhd, one of the best known ICT Infrastructure leasing service agencies in Malaysia.
With this leasing program, business owners can equip their workplaces with powerful Fujitsu LIFEBOOK series notebooks, with prices from as low as RM70.20 per month. The LIFEBOOK notebooks that are eligible for leasing include the LIFEBOOK AH544, E733, E743, and U772.
Yap Hui Hui, Country Manager of Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd said, “The Fujitsu leasing program is targeted towards the corporate and SME side of our business. We are expecting a growth of 30% in our corporate business through this initiative.”
The AH544 is a 15.6-inch notebook that runs on an Intel Core i5-4200M processor, Windows 8.1 / Windows 7 Pro, and has a 750GB HDD. The E733 is a 13.3-inch notebook that runs on an Intel Core i5-3230M, Windows 8 Pro, and has a 500GB Hybrid HDD. As for the E743, it is a 14-inch Intel Core i5-3230M notebook with a 500GB hybrid HDD and Windows 8 Pro. Finally, we have two variants of the 14-inch U772 – one that runs on a Core i5-3472U processor and the other that runs on a Core i7-3667U processor. Both have a 500GB hybrid drive and a 32GB iSSD.
Monthly pricing for the AH544, E733, E743, and two variants of U722 are RM70.20; RM94.80; RM98.40; RM137.10; and RM159.90 respectively.
In addition to launching the leasing program, the company also introduced a refreshed lineup of products, including the LIFEBOOK AH544, LIFEBOOK E-Series, LIFEBOOK UH544 and S904. Among these notebooks, the S904 is likely the most interesting as it offers a modular bay for users to insert an optical disc drive, a secondary battery, or a secondary HDD.
