HWM (Malaysia) - - SPECIAL -

Besides TVs, we also got a chance to marvel at some other less-than-conventional displays at the Forum. By less than conventional, we mean PC displays and monitors. With all the talk and display of UHD panels all around us that day, we expected to see some of this technology ported down to smaller form factors, such as a PC monitor or display. Needless to say, we weren’t disappointed when we saw some desktop monitors boasting UHD technology on them. There is the debate that is ongoing with many enthusiasts that claim that UHD technology would only be beneficial for displays that are larger than 60-inch. Anything smaller and the vast number of pixels actually become unnecessary, as there is only so much room to fit all the pixels. But as always, Samsung has defied the odds and managed to create a 24-inch and 27-inch display that pack in the same amount of pixels that you would find on its UHD TV range.

Remember, these are desktop monitors with UHD resolution.
