Affordable and Reliable UPS
Schneider Electric Unveils the APC Back-UPS BX625CI-MS
Schneider Electric recently launched the Back-UPS BX625CIMS, an affordable and reliable uninterrupted power supply (UPS) unit designed for the home, home office, and small businesses.
The Back-UPS offers three universal output sockets that are plugs. This results in a much safer option of powering multiple electronic devices through a single power cable.
It is equipped with a first-ofits-kind battery saver functionality and push button circuit breaker that provides protection from circuit overloads that may damage not only electronics, but also fuse boxes. The Back-UPS also provides lower operational costs over medium and long-term investment.
As an essential equipment especially for small businesses, a UPS not only prevent damages to electronic devices due to power dips and surges, but also prevent the loss of critical work and data during power outages.
According to IDC Worldwide Home Networking forecast for 2012-2016, 389 million households worldwide are expected to have a home network by 2016. With almost every new digital appliance connected to a network connection, a UPS could keep the network alive when electricity fails, which makes it an important component in a home and home office environment.
The Back-UPS BX625CI-MS’ battery runtime is estimated at 12 minutes when used by a typical all-in-one PC user. This gives ample time for the user to complete their online transactions, conclude chat or messaging, and save and close their game during sudden power outages.
Other features of the BX625CIMS include compatibility with devices with lower power loads, automatic diagnostics testing, and a two-year warranty for the device, including its battery.
