PC Expo Re­turns with Some of the Best Bar­gains and New­est Gad­gets in Town

Tech fans near and far gath­ered at the Mid Val­ley Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­ter on June 4 to 6 for the PC Expo 2014. One of the most fer­tile hunt­ing grounds for bar­gains, the event saw big brands bring­ing in their big­gest deals and lat­est gad­gets.

Through­out the three-day expo, a spe­cial pro­mo­tion was held ev­ery hour on the hour, where a lim­ited unit of an item is sold at rock-bot­tom prices. These in­clude 20 units of Blue­tooth speak­ers, which were sold for RM9.90 each, and five units of the Sam­sung GALAXY S5, which were sold for only RM1,899.

Note­book man­u­fac­tur­ers brought in some of the best must-have mod­els to PC Expo 2014. Dell’s booth fea­tured the new In­sp­iron 14 3000 Se­ries and In­sp­iron 15 3000 Se­ries, which were of­fered for RM1,999 and RM2,099, re­spec­tively. A spe­cial bun­dle was in­cluded with ev­ery pur­chase as well.

HP aimed to im­press with its line of Pav­il­ion note­book PCs, and one of the most af­ford­able note­book PCs on the show floor, the HP14-d037TU/d039TU, which was avail­able for only RM799.

ASUS brought a three-hit combo with the Fonepad 7 for RM399, the Trans­former Book T100TA with a free sleeve for RM1,299, and the X450CC with free wire­less mouse for only RM1,999.

Also not to be missed were Log­itech’s wide range of dis­counted pe­riph­er­als and gam­ing gear, Sea­gate’s wire­less stor­age so­lu­tions, and the pres­ence of Oppo and its Find 7a flag­ship smart­phone.

Hun­dreds rushed in as soon as the doors were opened.
