PC Expo Returns with Some of the Best Bargains and Newest Gadgets in Town
Tech fans near and far gathered at the Mid Valley Exhibition Center on June 4 to 6 for the PC Expo 2014. One of the most fertile hunting grounds for bargains, the event saw big brands bringing in their biggest deals and latest gadgets.
Throughout the three-day expo, a special promotion was held every hour on the hour, where a limited unit of an item is sold at rock-bottom prices. These include 20 units of Bluetooth speakers, which were sold for RM9.90 each, and five units of the Samsung GALAXY S5, which were sold for only RM1,899.
Notebook manufacturers brought in some of the best must-have models to PC Expo 2014. Dell’s booth featured the new Inspiron 14 3000 Series and Inspiron 15 3000 Series, which were offered for RM1,999 and RM2,099, respectively. A special bundle was included with every purchase as well.
HP aimed to impress with its line of Pavilion notebook PCs, and one of the most affordable notebook PCs on the show floor, the HP14-d037TU/d039TU, which was available for only RM799.
ASUS brought a three-hit combo with the Fonepad 7 for RM399, the Transformer Book T100TA with a free sleeve for RM1,299, and the X450CC with free wireless mouse for only RM1,999.
Also not to be missed were Logitech’s wide range of discounted peripherals and gaming gear, Seagate’s wireless storage solutions, and the presence of Oppo and its Find 7a flagship smartphone.
Hundreds rushed in as soon as the doors were opened.
